I have used storage lockers for many years - both drive up and climate controlled in two states including Columbus GA. I was dissatisfied with my current facility and had decided to change facilities. I always meet with management and inspect units prior to rental. This time I looked at 3 other facilities in addition to this one. This location is on Veterans Parkway, close to where my other units were located. I made two visits to Storage Xxtra and examined several units prior to renting my units. The staff were knowledgeable and courteous. This facility is the only one in Columbus GA that will fix rates yearly so you are not faced with increases every 3 - 6 months. Their units are on one level and the buildings look new, well maintained and secure. Depending on your storage needs there are many options as to storage including climate controlled, drive up and parking for vehicles including trailers and recreational vehicles. There are also promotions for prepayment as well as the initial rental. The facility itself is much larger than it appears from the street with 3 separate gates so you have easy access to your particular location. As a result I do recommend this business and believe it should be seriously considered for all storage rental needs.

Rachel was great with assisting & answering all my questions. She did not try to push me into a unit that I was uncomfortable paying for. She found me a unit that comfortably works for my budget and that also works with getting my large trailer in & out for loading/unloading. This is my forever storage home based on Rachel’s customer service, price point & grounds cleanliness.

A wonderful customer service experience from the initial call with Donresha to the site visit with Rachel. Both representatives took their time to explain all the aspects of the storage process and pricing. Also, a tour of the gates to use for the best entryway to our storage unit. The storage units are located in a convenient location and the climate control units are new and nicely kept. The property was clean and free of debris. A great thank you to both representatives for their awesome customer.
